For many LGBTQ+ people, homelessness can start at the kitchen table, with a parent who gives them days (sometimes hours) to leave.

The Supreme Court ruling left a lot of organisations unsure about what "trans-inclusive" is even allowed to look like anymore. And it's absolutely still possible.

Stonewall Housing, akt and Gendered Intelligence have teamed up to create a practical resource for housing and homelessness organisations navigating the ruling because the ruling does not strip trans people of their legal protections.

Uncertainty shouldn't mean exclusion. Trans and non-binary people deserve safe homes and services that see them and this resource is here to help your organisation keep delivering that with confidence.

This Saturday, we marched in solidarity at London Trans+ Pride, honouring the trans, non-binary, gender non-conforming and intersex community 🏳️‍⚧️

A frontline role supporting LGBTQ+ people in supported accommodation to move towards independent living with dignity, strength and stability. Lived experience or experience working with homeless or vulnerable LGBTQ+ people is essential.

No formal qualifications needed for either role. We particularly welcome applications from Black, Asian and minoritised candidates and people with lived experience of homelessness.

Whether you're a fundraiser or a frontline support worker, you'll be joining a team fighting to make sure every LGBTQ+ person has a safe place to call home.

🏳️‍⚧️ An Open Letter to Our LGBTQ+ Communities 🏳️‍🌈

The latest EHRC guidance has caused real fear, uncertainty and hurt for many trans and non-binary people. This letter is signed by LGBTQ+ organisations across Brighton, Hove and Sussex, united in one collective message that transphobia has no place here.

To trans and non-binary folks: we see you, we value you and we are glad you are here.

To our allies: now is the time to stand up, not step back. Share this letter, challenge misinformations and help create safer spaces.
