The Erewele family is widely recognised for its humility, respectfulness, and distinguished educational heritage. They are descendants of the late Chief Barrister Frank Okafi Erewele, a respected educator whose legacy continues to resonate across Edo state and beyond. The family is known for its intelligence, exposure, and principled character qualities that anyone may easily verify through further inquiry.

Many of us have taken time to observe recent developments, particularly the frequent remarks directed at the Benin heritage, an institution held in the highest esteem by both those at home and those in the diaspora.

It is for this reason that concerned individuals have felt compelled to publicly address these issues and call for greater respect and restraint.

Albert Obazee, it would be prudent to familiarise yourself more deeply with the values and legacy of the late Chief Frank Okafi Erewele and his family.

Those who know them can attest to their humility, discipline, and commitment to honourable conduct.

Furthermore, the recent actions witnessed often referred to as the “double chief ” incident should be regarded as a wake-up call to all Benin people, both at home and abroad, to remain vigilant and united in safeguarding the dignity of the Benin Kingdom.

The Kingdom remains one of the greatest cultural institutions in the world, and its heritage deserves unwavering respect.
In light of this, it is my considered opinion that the Benin people deserve an open and unreserved apology from you, Albert Obazee. The United Kingdom should not be viewed as a safe haven for conduct perceived as disrespectful or dismissive toward our cherished traditions.
To be forewarned is to be forearmed.

President Donald Trump’s recent comments on Nigeria’s insecurity should be a call for reflection. If the concern is truly genuine, then protecting Nigerian lives must begin with those currently in the United States who fled the same insecurity now being highlighted.
Deporting Nigerians back to a nation still struggling with safety contradicts the message of wanting to help.

Many of these individuals escaped danger and deserve the chance to seek asylum not to be returned to the very risks they ran from.

If the intention is truly justice and not politics, then let it show through action: safeguard Nigerians abroad, especially those facing deportation. Their lives matter too.

All Nigerian lives matter both at home and abroad.
Let justice start with protecting the one's already in your hands.

There are encouraging signs of peaceful resolution between the Royal Palace of the Oba of Benin Kingdom, Governor Monday Okpebholo, and the European diplomats.
Many people may not fully understand the story surrounding the Museum of West African Art (MOWAA), but it is important for everyone to know the true state of the situation.

We are fortunate to have such enlightened and diplomatic personalities working to clarify and resolve these matters.
His Royal Majesty, the Oba of Benin, has been able to clearly express the true reflection of what transpired to the European diplomats, many of whom were not previously aware of the deeper context. They have shown a willingness to understand and avoid further complications.

With the respectful and listening leadership of Governor Monday Okpebholo, there is great hope that everything will be resolved peacefully. Edo will surely rise and be great again.
