Q***R AS PUNK in cinemas now - it follows Faris a transman and lead singer of ‘Shh..Diam!’, an openly q***r punk band in Malaysia. Together with his bandmates Yon and Yoyo, they use their music to fight for LGBTQI+ rights in a country where human rights and freedom of expression is severely curtailed by a conservative Muslim society.

After years of conversation we’re thrilled to have the incredible NAKED ACTS by Bridgett M. Davis join the T A P E library for theatrical and non-theatrical screenings in the UK & Ireland.

Beautiful aspiring actor Cicely (Jake-ann Jones) has just landed her first major role, but there’s a big problem: it requires a n**e scene. Now, with the support of her boyfriend Joel (Ron Cephas Jones), she attempts to get past her fear…

Despite the production and distribution work of Davis at the time of original release in 1996, NAKED ACTS remained one of the criminally under-seen “most influential Black films” until the good folks at and led on a new 4K distribution with and now the film is available to see on the big screen and beyond.

Our first screening is this Friday 1st May at BFI Southbank, and more screenings to come.
