It’s more than just a cricket ball 🏏

For years, women’s and junior cricket have often shared the same ball specifications.

Now, new MCC regulations introduce three distinct size and weight specifications for men’s, women’s and junior cricket, with tighter tolerances specifically for women’s cricket because women’s cricket deserves equipment that is properly specified for women’s cricket. 🏏❤️

🏆️🌟 Player of the Month: August - Lith Hoult

Her Game Too Cricket and The Oakfield Group are delighted to announce that Lith Hoult from Newtown Linford Cricket Club has been named as our Player of the Month for August 2026. 👏

Playing for the club's Men's 3rd XI, Lith was the only female player across both teams in their clash against Cropston Cricket Club where she took an incredible 7/34! 😱 This performance with the ball played a huge part in helping the team secure victory.

Lith is not only an asset on the field, but - even at just 16-years-old - is proving to be a fantastic role model for the other women and girls at Newtown Linford CC, "showing them what’s possible and giving our younger female players someone at the club to look up to."

🙌 Congratulations, Lith! Keep up the great work.

Thank you to the Oakfield Group for their support. 🤝
