🏆️🌟 Player of the Month: June - Jodie Cook

Her Game Too Cricket and The Oakfield Group are delighted to announce that Jodie Cook from Nettleham Cricket Club has been named as our Player of the Month for June 2026. 👏

Scoring 60* (57), Jodie hit her first half-century last month, pushing herself in the hot weather. What a way to start your first full season at NCC!

It was great to chat to spectators about the work we do at Her Game Too, see the familiar badges of our partnered clubs and watch some entertaining cricket. 🙌 We especially loved the face-painting! 🎨

Whilst it is Australia’s name that will be carved into the trophy, this England team have etched their names and achievements into the history books. 📚

🌟 Cricket may not be coming home this time, but the legacy of this team and tournament will be felt for generations to come.

From attending their first-ever cricket match, signing up for All Stars/Dynamos to volunteering at a host ground - the 2026 edition of the Women’s T20 World Cup has attracted, inspired and empowered women and girls across England and Wales. It may not be silverware in a cabinet but, we think that’s pretty special.
