๐ŸŽจ๐Ÿ’š Our Wellbeing Group recently took part in a powerful self-reflection activity, creating self-portraits split into two halves.

One side represented how they believe others see them on the outside, while the other expressed how they truly feel on the inside. Through creativity and discussion, young people explored their emotions, identity and the difference between outward appearances and inner feelings.

The activity encouraged self-awareness, confidence and honest conversations, helping young people understand that it's okay to talk about how they feel and that everyone experiences different emotions. ๐ŸŒŸ

At AAA, our Wellbeing Group provides a safe and supportive space where young people can build confidence, make friends, develop resilience and improve their wellbeing through creative activities, sports, workshops, trips and discussions.

๐ŸŒŠโ›ต What an incredible start to our residential programme for 2026!

A group of young people recently headed to UWC Atlantic in Wales for our first residential trip of the year, taking part in an action-packed four-day adventure filled with learning, teamwork and fun.

Throughout the residential, the group developed a range of sailing and water safety skills, including learning about different parts of a boat, water safety procedures, radio communication and the correct terminology used at sea. They also learnt how to tie essential sailing knots, work together to launch and manoeuvre boats, and even how to safely capsize and flip a boat back over!

Alongside the water-based activities, young people took part in a variety of team-building games and challenges, helping to build confidence, communication, resilience and teamwork skills while making new friends and creating lasting memories.

A huge well done to everyone who took part for embracing new challenges, stepping outside their comfort zones and representing AAA so brilliantly. We can't wait for the next adventure! ๐Ÿ’š
