Ambition Aspire Achieve (AAA) is a Newham-based children’s charity supporting disadvantaged, vulnerable, and at-risk young people through fun, inclusive activities that build confidence, skills, and brighter futures. We work in partnership with, and receive referrals from a variety of sources, such as schools, education welfare services, health visitors, family and child consultation services, com

munity mental health teams, probation services, family support groups, disability support groups, community organisations and youth offending teams. These experiences foster AMBITION which gives the confidence to ASPIRE and the skills, resources and self-belief to ACHIEVE. We offer young people with multiple needs bespoke experiences and programmes which support, resource and enable them to overcome their difficulties.

Ambition Aspire Achieve is looking for an exceptional, values-led Chief Executive Officer to lead our Newham-based children and young people’s charity into its next chapter.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a much-loved local charity, supporting our dedicated team and helping ensure AAA remains strong, sustainable and ambitious for the children, young people and families we serve.

💷 £60,000–£65,000 per annum
⏰ Full time – 37.5 hours per week

We’re looking for someone who shares our values of being Committed, Caring, Collaborative and Creative, with the leadership, relationship-building and income-generation skills to help take AAA forward.

☀️ That’s a wrap on our Summer Playscheme at the Terence Brown Arc! 🌈

We’ve had such a brilliant summer filled with games, sports, arts and crafts, outdoor fun and plenty of laughter! 🎨⚽️🏃‍♀️

It’s been wonderful seeing the children having fun, trying different activities, making new friends and enjoying everything the Arc has to offer. 💚

We hope everyone has enjoyed the summer as much as we have, and we look forward to welcoming you back to the Arc again soon! 💚✨

🌈☀️ Summer Fun at Glyn Hopkin Abbey Hub! 🎨⚽

There’s been plenty of summer fun at our Glyn Hopkin Abbey Hub, with children enjoying our SEND HAF and Summer Playscheme! 💛

From sports and games to arts and crafts, there have been lots of opportunities to get active, be creative, try something new and make new friends along the way. 🙌

The children also got stuck into some tasty food activities, including making their very own pizzas! 🍕👩‍🍳

It’s been fantastic to see everyone having fun, building confidence, spending time together and making the most of their summer holidays in a safe and welcoming environment. 🌟

🌈🫧 Summer SEND Short Breaks! ☀️💛

Last week marked the final week of our SEND Short Breaks summer provision at the Terence Brown Arc, and what a brilliant way to finish!

The children and young people had a great time enjoying a mixture of games, sports, creative and sensory activities, with plenty of opportunities to have fun, socialise and spend time together. 🎨⚽✨

A highlight of the week was a fantastic bubble workshop 🫧, which brought lots of smiles, laughter and plenty of bubble-filled fun!

It’s been wonderful seeing everyone enjoying themselves throughout the summer, building friendships, trying different activities and making some lovely memories along the way. 💚

🐯🦒 Summer Family Trips – Colchester Zoo! 🐘🦓

Last week saw the second of our free Summer Family Trips, as we headed off for a fantastic day at Colchester Zoo! ☀️

Families had a brilliant time exploring the zoo together, discovering animals from around the world and, most importantly, enjoying some quality time together and making special summer memories. 💛

Our Summer Family Trips are all about giving local families the opportunity to enjoy new experiences, spend time together and visit places they may not otherwise have the chance to explore.

It was lovely to see everyone enjoying the day 🐒🦁

🎨⚽ Summer Playscheme – Week 3! ☀️🌈

Another brilliant week of summer fun at our Terence Brown Arc! 🙌

The children have had a fantastic time getting creative with lots of arts and crafts, keeping active with sports and games, and enjoying plenty of opportunities to play, laugh and have fun together. 🏃‍♀️🎨🏀

One of the best parts of our playschemes is seeing new friendships being made and children growing in confidence as they try new activities, work together and enjoy their summer holidays in a safe and welcoming environment. 💛

🎉 What an incredible two weeks at Playwheels! 🌞🚐

We've had a fantastic time delivering our Playwheels Summer Playscheme across two locations in Tower Hamlets, bringing free, fun and engaging activities directly into local communities.

Children enjoyed a wide range of arts and crafts, sports, team games, creative activities and outdoor play, making new friends, building confidence and creating lasting summer memories along the way.

Playwheels is all about making play accessible, encouraging children to be active, creative and social in a safe and welcoming environment close to home.

🌞 Our Family Summer Trips are off to a fantastic start! 🐾💚

Last week, families joined us for the first of our free summer trips with a visit to Hobbledown Heath, where they enjoyed a wonderful day exploring, playing and making lasting memories together.

From meeting amazing animals and discovering exciting play areas to spending quality time together outdoors, it was a day full of laughter, adventure and family fun.

Our Family Summer Trips are designed to give local families the opportunity to enjoy memorable experiences they may not otherwise have the chance to access. As well as providing fun days out during the school holidays, the trips help strengthen family relationships, reduce social isolation and create lasting memories for children and parents alike.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us—we're looking forward to many more adventures with families across Newham this summer! 💙

🌈 Our SEND Short Breaks Summer Programme at the Terence Brown Arc has been full of smiles, laughter and fun! 💙

We've had a fantastic summer so far, with our young people enjoying a wide variety of games, arts and crafts, sensory activities and interactive play in a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment.

Our SEND Short Breaks programme gives children and young people the opportunity to make friends, build confidence, develop new skills and have fun, while also providing valuable respite for families and carers.

💪 Exercise can be fun! 🏃‍♀️🎉

Our SEND Youth Club had a fantastic session getting active through a fun-filled exercise workout! From movement games to energetic activities, everyone got involved, built their confidence and discovered that keeping active can be enjoyable.

Regular exercise helps improve physical health, balance, coordination, confidence, mental wellbeing and social skills, and it's always even better when you're having fun with friends!

🌟 Join our SEND Youth Clubs!

We run a range of inclusive SEND Youth Clubs across Newham for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities, providing a safe, welcoming environment where they can make friends, learn new skills and enjoy a wide variety of activities.
