We would like to congratulate Nation FC U14's on winning the Lisa Di Palma Cup on Sunday.

A speech beautifully read out by Keith before an amazing game of football, played in the right spirit from start to finish.

This cup holds a very special place in our hearts and it was fantastic to see so many people come together to celebrate Lisa and grassroots football.

Thank you to everyone involved, all the players, coaches, officials and supporters who helped make the day so special. ❤️

Today at Aveley Football Club, the U14s Premier Division and Cup Final will be played — a very special match for a very special reason.

The cup is dedicated to Lisa Di Palma, whose legacy in grassroots football continues to live on through every player, coach and family she supported.

Many years ago, when Lisa first became a divisional officer, it was the U14s she first worked with — and from that moment on she poured her heart into the game and the young people in it. Her belief, her energy and her constant encouragement made a lasting impact on everyone she came across.

Today is not just about a final, but about remembering someone who gave so much to others. Every pass, every tackle, every moment on that pitch carries a little piece of the passion Lisa had for football and for helping others grow.

It feels right that this trophy carries her name and her spirit — a reminder of the difference one person can make.
She will be, without doubt, watching over every player today, doing what she always did best — pushing them on, believing in them, and cheering them forward. ❤️

Today, Albie is taking on the Nuclear Mud Race! 💪🧡

We are beyond proud of him for wanting to do something so incredible at just 9 years old, all in support of the Lisa Di Palma Foundation. What an amazing challenge to take on, and for such a special cause too.

We’re all behind you, Albie — go smash it! 🏃‍♂️🔥🧱

If anybody would like to support him and donate, please see the link below. Every donation, big or small, will help give him that final push he needs to get through the mud, obstacles, and finish line!

Let’s show him how much support he’s got! 👏🧡

A picture worth a thousand words.

Through every mile, every tear, every moment of pain and pride… Ruth carried Lisa with her. 💛🖤

Not just in her hand, but in her heart. A reminder of why she started, who she was running for, and the legacy that continues to inspire so many.

26.2 miles of strength, love, and determination. Today wasn’t just a marathon… it was a tribute.

Lisa was with her every single step of the way.

We are so proud of you, Ruth. Truly incredible. 💛🖤

Ruth has absolutely smashed it running in 5 hr 55mins with an injury but would never ever give up. Lisa was with her every step of the way and we as a family are so so appreciative of everything she does for our foundation .

It’s not too late to still donate. Please let’s get her over £6k by donating using this link

If there is one thing you do today, please support Ruth. 💛🖤

You won't miss her in her yellow and black stripes 💛🖤

A truly selfless woman who has taken on the incredible challenge of running 26.2 miles in honour of Lisa, raising funds for the Lisa Di Palma Foundation.

She is showing us all just how much she cares and how much she supports everything we stand for — helping underprivileged children through football, giving children the chance to play, and supporting young people who want to become referees or coaches.

So today, whether you’re watching on TV, in London, or simply going about your day, think of Ruth and show her how much we are all behind her.

Donate what you can, shout her name if you see her, hand her some jelly babies, give her that extra push to keep going, and fill this post with messages of support for her to read. 🙌

We thank Ruth for always supporting us… now it’s our turn to support her today. 💛🖤💛🖤
