Nature never ceases to fascinate. Just when this Zantedeschia is about to succumb to the cold and collapse into a soppy mess, it’s produced an unusual beauty. Fasciation can take many forms. Here, rather than one spadix, we have a fan of them; rather than one spathe, an open form with the spadix more exposed than usual. There are many theories about why nature occasionally does this. Is this plant responding to something? Incidences of fasciation appear to be on the rise. What’s your theory? Drop us a comment and let us know.
