This morning was packed with amazing events and authors! We build a fairytale with . showed us a world where nature is alive with magic. We celebrated 25 years of Charlie and Lola with . Solved a mystery with . Cracked the code with . Learned where to hide your lion best friend with . .liz took us into the world of The Mubbles. We went on a rollercoaster ride through Roman Britain with and met at the Waterstones tent!

But you can’t stop us now! Many fun things still to come today! 💃🏻

That’s it for Day 1 of London Children’s Literature Festival! It’s been an amazing day filled with wonderful events, including raps and rhymes with Michael Rosen & MC Grammar, creating Roblox characters with Kingsley Nebechi, interactive adventures with .armstrong, a meet & greet with Moneky and Bunny, cats and magical tygers with , Kayleigh - Providing children’s phonics & storytelling classes read to the littlest, we met Captain Loo Roll with Matt Carr, we learned about the inner workings of the body with Roopa Farooki and settled a long standing debate between the choice of cats and dogs with The Week Junior!

We’ve had an amazing morning at London Children’s Literature Festival 😍 With the wonderful Axel Scheffler drawing for us, Vanessa Woolfe telling us all about Little Miss Marple, Ed Syder helping us develop our very own comic book character to draw on a skateboard!, Russell Kane brought his brand new picture book to life, Rob Biddulph drew a lovely picture for us on our red apron, Molly Oldfield gave us the facts about hippo poo and Maz Evans gave us a peek into the world of Shakespeare!

The fun has just begun! 🥳🥳🥳
