On 1st March, members of our community came together for a traditional Romanian stitching workshop — a craft rooted in heritage, brought to life in Harrow. Skills like these carry culture across borders and across time.

The second event of the weekend for is later this afternoon - entry is free.

Join us for the launch of our oral history exhibition celebrating the life and work of Mohamoud Dualeh, a pioneering Somali journalist who first came to the UK in the 1980s and has spent most of his life in Harrow. Through interviews, archival recordings, photographs, and a timeline of five decades, the exhibition traces Somali broadcasting, migration, and community life, ensuring these stories are preserved for future generations.

The first event to kick off a busy week for our Stories Of Harrow project is tonight.
Join us celebrate the rich contributions of Harrow’s Caribbean Community through a moving Mini Play dramatising the incredible journeys of Ex-Nurses who were called by the British Government from their Caribbean islands to pursue nursing careers in the UK during the 1960s–1970s.
