We’re delighted to announce that, today, the management of the Circular Economy Club (CEC) has been transferred to CIWM, a leading professional membership organisation dedicated to moving the world beyond waste. This development will also see CIWM, which is headquartered in the UK, take on leadership of the Circular Economy Institute (CEI).

Since its inception in 2012, the CEC has gone from strength to strength. Now, with over 260 clubs in more than 80 countries, we’re ready to take our community to the next level. With 125 years of experience, and supporting over 6,600 professionals and 250 organisations in more than 50 countries, CIWM has proven itself as a highly successful membership organisation which has been instrumental in developing and promoting the sustainable use and management of resources.

The CEC and CIWM communities are already united by a shared purpose: to protect the future of our planet through sustainable and regenerative resource management. We’re incredibly excited about the opportunities this new chapter will create as we continue to ring the circular economy to cities worldwide.
