A little personal milestone from me 🤍

It’s been one month since I stepped into my new role as Group CFO in financial services — and I wanted to share it here, not just as a career milestone, but as a mum.

Motherhood changed me in so many ways. My priorities shifted, my time became more precious, and the way I thought about success changed too.

But becoming a mum didn’t mean I stopped having goals for myself.

If anything, it made me more intentional about the things I choose to pursue.

So this is a little reminder to the mama who feels like she’s fallen behind, put something on hold, changed direction, or is wondering whether she can still do the things she once dreamed about:

Your journey might look different now. That doesn’t mean the dream has to disappear. 🤍

Keep going. Keep believing in yourself. And don’t forget to celebrate how far you’ve already come.

Here’s to all of us building lives that make room for motherhood and the women we are outside of it.🫶

And yes, ”we”did it - this little person was a huge contributor to my achievement because being a mother has made me feel like I can achieve anything 😃

When my son was born, baby massage wasn’t something I’d ever really thought about or considered.

But after speaking with Laura, a neonatal nurse and baby massage instructor, I honestly wish I’d discovered it sooner.

Learning about the benefits was eye-opening. Baby massage isn’t just about relaxation—it can help support your baby’s development, strengthen the bond between parent and baby, encourage better sleep, and even help ease tummy discomfort, wind and colic.

It’s one of those simple skills that can have such a positive impact in those precious early months, and I can completely understand why so many parents wish they’d started earlier.

If you’re expecting, have a newborn, or simply want to learn more, this is definitely a skill worth having. 🤍

Book your space at Laura’s baby massage course (starts 5 August!) and get a chance to chat to Laura about your baby’s development. Link in Bio 🫶
