Overseas Pakistanis Welfare Council OPWC-UK is an organisation working for the wellbeing of Pakistani Expatriates living in the United Ki

Vision:

The Overseas Pakistani Welfare Council (OPWC) is concerned with the wellbeing of Pakistanis, both British nationals and expatriates living in Britain and envisions assisting them to be proactive and more rationally engaged with the local communities. Objectives:

• To do welfare work for the community especially in community cohesion
• To project a softer image of Pakistan by building

bridges between communities
• To work for the education of the community at university level including teaching English to women
• To work for the community integration with local society especially persuasion to join the Civil Service in the UK including the Police and the Army
• To work for women’s empowerment and rights
• To support all legal resident’s attempts to find better employment
• Expediting the issue of NADRA cards and passports and eliminating unnecessary delays. Core Values:
