Following a series of strategic engagements aimed at strengthening G-SEL’s future direction, G-SEL Network convened a consultancy session with Oaklin Developing Strategies to explore pathways for strengthening its positioning within the UK think tank and policy ecosystem.
The session provided an opportunity to reflect on G-SEL’s growth, assess current strengths, and identify strategic pathways for advancing sustainable energy access, leadership, and development across the Global South.
Discussions covered organisational structure, financial sustainability, partnerships, convening power, and research capacity, alongside broader considerations around G-SEL’s evolving role within the UK policy landscape.
Representing Oaklin were Ben Parsons, Partner; Grant Laten, Partner; and Farheen Khan, Analyst, alongside Lauren McEvatt, Managing Director of Morpeth Consulting.
Representing G-SEL Network were Joy Osomiamhe-O, Founding Partner; Tony Cullen, Company Secretary; and Daniels Aide Okun, Head of Programmes.
We appreciate the insights shared during the session and look forward to building on these conversations as we continue to strengthen G-SEL’s strategic direction and impact.
