Prayer Points For Wednesday Fasting and Prayer Exercise.

1. Matthew 6:17-18 TPT When you fast, don’t let it be obvious, but instead, wash your face and groom yourself and realize that your Father in the secret place is the one who is watching all that you do in secret and will continue to reward you.”

Prayer. Heavenly Father, we thank you for another opportunity to fast this Wednesday, we ask you, Father, to accept our fasting and reward us in Jesus' name.

2. Genesis 39.2 And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian.

Prayer. Heavenly Father, because you are with me, everything I do this year of shining and beyond will be prosperous in Jesus' name.

Activating Glory In Your Life

Glory, which means honour, is a distinctive quality of God. When an individual is glorified, such a person enjoys some benefits, including but not limited to special favour from God. Today's devotion teaches how we can activate glory in our lives.

Scriptural Reference

It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, But the glory of kings is to search out a matter. (Proverbs 25:2 AMP)

Understanding The Scripture

Today's scripture discloses that it's God's glory to conceal a thing, including the correct teachings. In other words, the right teachings are not hidden by the devil but by God. Yes, it's His glory to hide a thing.

The passage also says discovering a hidden thing is a king's glory. As Christians, we are not just ordinary people but royal priesthoods. So, finding secret things, including the correct doctrines, is our glory. Put differently, we are glorified when we discover the correct doctrines of God. Hiding a correct doctrine is God's glory, but finding it is our glory.

The Implications Of The Scripture

1. Since it is God's glory to hide a thing, this implies that the right doctrines are also hidden. They are mysteries.

2. If the right teachings are hidden, correct teachings are not usually popular.

3. Discovering hidden knowledge activates glory in our lives, which makes us receive favour. That explains why the Bible says that good understanding procures favour (Proverbs 13:15).

Conclusion

I urge you to study consistently and prayerfully, searching for hidden knowledge. When you discover any hidden knowledge, you will be glorified, which will, in turn, empower you to receive favour and, subsequently, your heart desires.
