We had a great cricket game Sunday, with the small ball used in international matches. The Saints beat the Woodsmen by 6 runs, bowling them out in the last over.

Thanks so much to the players, umpires and scorer for the game. The next match is on 14 July, hope to see you there.

Good luck to the GB women’s goalball team - who are in China for the IBSA Goalball world championships!

Placed in a brutally tough group, they’re now in the 9th to 16th place play offs. You’ve got this, ladies! 💪

Cricket: man of the match, Shiv Verma! 💪

This spritely 74 year old steered us to an unlikely draw against an impressive Hampshire team - who thumped us 2 weeks earlier.

Shiv cane in to bat at 73 for 6, with the team needing to survive 11 more overs to draw. Curbing his natural instinct to attack, Shiv guided us past 100 to get a batting point, then blocked until the end. The team finished on 101 for 9, with one wicket left.

Many thanks to Hampshire for a great day out, and good luck for the rest of the season.
