We are excited to welcome two wonderful guest artists to KathaDarpan 2026, bringing with them two distinct dance traditions from the culturally rich Eastern Indian state of Odisha - one classical, and one rooted in its vibrant folk traditions.

We are delighted to welcome Monidipa Seal, who will bring to the evening the grace, expression and sculptural beauty of Odissi, one of India’s celebrated classical dance forms.

Joining her will be the wonderful Utkalika Dance Team, bringing the colour, rhythm and joyous spirit of Odia folk dance, and a vibrant celebration of Odisha’s rich folk heritage.

From the elegance of its classical tradition to the energy and colour of its folk culture, we are delighted to bring these two beautiful expressions of Odisha’s dance heritage to the KathaDarpan stage.

Join us for KathaDarpan 2026, presented by Arambh Collective — the Events & Outreach Team of Arambh Kathak Pathshala.

Words of appreciation that we’ll cherish forever. 🙏✨Recognition is always special, but appreciation from someone who values art and culture makes it even more meaningful. 🙏it is truly an honour to receive such encouraging words from Mr Kartik Pande, the Deputy High Commissioner after our performance on the occasion of International Day of Yoga on 19th June✨
Deeply grateful for the encouragement—it motivates us to keep dancing, learning, and representing our culture with pride. ❤️Grateful beyond words🧿🙏🏻
