It’s thanks to all your kind donations and support that we can keep doing what we do. It’s no surprise that ‘thank you’ was the most common phrase in our cancer kit feedback. This feedback really shows the difference our cancer kits make as people navigate their cancer treatment. We will continue to provide comfort and help to all those effected by cancer in the UK. Once again, thank you.

The Cancer Kits we provide are composed of carefully selected items to help individuals throughout the cancer treatment process. Kit was the 2nd most common word in our Cancer Kit feedback. These kits are just one representation of our goal to provide comfort and support for those undergoing cancer treatment.

A fully-stocked Kids' Kit helped bring back Max's smile during cancer treatment, aged just 7 years old

After feeling unwell for several months, with unexplained bruising and tiredness, Max was diagnosed with high-risk acute lymphoblastic leukaemia – just a month after his birthday 😔

During one particularly tough stage of his treatment, Max received a Kids’ Kit from Cancer Support UK – and it made an instant difference. Inside was a pair of bright yellow Minion socks, which he stared proudly wearing to every hospital appointment, a snuggly Warmies bunny, puzzle books, and more.

"Max loves his Kids’ Kit,” says his mum. “The socks make him smile, the bunny gives him comfort, and the notepad has become our lifeline. It might seem small, but it means a lot when you’re spending so much time in hospital.”

With around 1,900 children a year diagnosed with cancer, demand for our Kids' Kits is constantly high. If you'd like to bring a smile to the face of another poorly child like Max, a donation today will mean another Kids' Kit can be on its way to a hospital bed tomorrow.
