BORN N BREAD x GALA Cornerstone Tent Takeover. Five years in the making ❤️

What a weekend!

Big love to everyone who stepped into our world on Friday. To our DJs, our team, our supporters, and every single person who brought the vibes, thank you for coming through and sharing it with us.

The energy in the tent was insane!! Every set, every dance, every reload, every face in the crowd. Colourful. Loud. Sweaty and just pure connection.

This year’s lineup felt extra special too, with all our DJ competition winners over the last five years all in one place, repping the next generation of selectors and the community we’ve been building together since day one!

We’ll be thinking about this one for a while 🖤🏆

BORN N BREAD x DJ Competition is OPEN!
We’re on the hunt for TWO TALENTED DJs
Could that be you🫵🏾? Are you really that somebody?

5 whole years partnering with GALA Festival & discovering fresh new talent✨🙌🏾🎉! We started BORN N BREAD with no industry networks & we know how hard it is to start.

➡️AND this year we’re doing something extra special… we will be hosting a LIVE FINAL NIGHT 🎧✨ at the iconic on May 14th! This is your chance to prove yourself on stage in front of a live crowd & experienced DJs🎶

Why?🎶
This DJ call-out is to equip Black and ethnic minority women/Femme identifying people aged 18+ with a passion for starting a career in DJ’ing with a chance to showcase their talents. We aim to support the winners and provide prizes to equip them on this journey.
Our main aim is to platform and celebrate talent often erased from festival lineups and bring more diverse visibility to these spaces.
Rules📑🧐
To enter, all you need to do is:
⭐️ Follow our Instagram account
⭐️ Be a femme/woman/non-binary person that is of Black/ ethnic minority background
⭐️ Be 18+ yrs old
⭐️ Based in London
⭐️ Send a 30-minute mix to the link in our bio 🔗
⭐️ Never performed at a mainstream festival
⭐️ Available for the Live Finals on 14.5.26 AND to play at GALA Festival 22.5.26🎧

This year would not have looked like this if it wasn’t for you all!!!! 2025 was a year where 3 mums came together and said yes to themselves! And a year that a village supported us throughout the many ups and many downs as women founders & mothers in the music industry! 🥹💕🎶

So a MASSIVE thank you to all our friends, family, colleagues, peers and brands we danced, worked & laughed (and sometimes 🥲with) in 2025.

We will be back in 2026 rested and excited to create more musical memories together! Have a lovely Christmas & winter break 🎄🎅🏾🦃

A Sunday 📸 recap. Basically…. this year has been soooooooo good to us. We really worked HARD 🥵🥵😅 solidifying our friendships and sisterhood 👯‍♀️👯‍♀️🥹 & sustaining this with children. We can’t stress enough how much having kids and working is MAD 😭 but we did it Joe lol & so did alot of you!!!!
