As the Creative People and Places Hounslow programme comes to a close we have been working alongside our Community Arts Groups to ensure they can carry on. 

Therefore, we now have the pleasure of announcing that the following groups are independent and carrying on long-term!

★ Shakti Divas Bhangra Fusion will continue, led by their talented dance instructor Rakhi Sood.
The first session back will be Tuesday 13th January, 7-8 pm at The Hub, 103 Salisbury Road, Hounslow, TW4 7NW.
Call Rakhi Sood on 07944610099, to get involved. 

★ Hounslow Community Brass Band will continue to lead amazing Brass Band rehearsals and performances led by their committee of incredible volunteers. 
The first session back will be Tuesday 13th January, 7:30 - 8 pm at Riverside Vineyard Church, Air Park Way, TW13 7LX.

★ Brentford Ukulele Collective will continue led by an incredible working group of volunteers.
 The first session back will be Wednesday 14th January, 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm at the Express Tavern, 56 Kew Bridge Rd, Brentford TW8 0EW.

Start your New Year creative resolutions early with Drawing Lates at Heston Library 🎨🖼️

Drawing Lates with Miguel are a relaxed way to learn still life drawing.

'Nothing really like this, this is something nice to look forward to after work. It's accessible, it's nice that's local' - Drawing Lates participant.

Each Monday evening session will build up your skills as an artist, focusing on different mediums. Learning from experienced artist

Winter Lights 2025 💫

Join us and on Saturday 22nd November to celebrate Hounslow’s Hopes for the Future and the turning on of the Christmas lights.

📆 Saturday 22nd November 2025
⏰ Meet at 6pm to be given a lantern to carry. The parade will begin at 6.30pm
📍 Hounslow High Street (meet at Thakers 162 A/B, High Street, Hounslow TW3 1BQ)

In 2024 the weather was not on our side but the brave souls of Hounslow came out anyway, wrapped up ready to celebrate in the rain! Some lovely photos from last year here, taken by .visuals

This year, the Winter Lights theme is 'Hope for the Future.' Workshops with community groups are taking place throughout November to make the lanterns that will be used during the parade and to ask you your hopes for the future.

We had so much fun at Cranford Community Hub last wednesday with over 40 people coming along to print autumnal leaves with the brilliant

We're back this week with more crafts! will be with us making handmade photo frames.

Make and Create is a series of FREE creative activities for parents and children at Cranford Community Hub which takes place at Beaver’s Children Centre and Library.

- Try out new arts and crafts activities with local artists
- Make and create with your little ones
- Meet new people in your local area
- Find out what’s on offer at the Hub
