London Music Fund

London Music Fund Established in 2011, London Music Fund is an independent charity with the Mayor of London as Patron. We realise this is a major challenge.

Established in 2011, the London Music Fund is an independent charity with the Mayor of London as Patron. Our vision is that every child who demonstrates significant musical ability, enthusiasm and commitment to learning an instrument is given the opportunity to develop their potential. However, by working in partnership with local Music Services we believe we can change the face of music education in the capital and in fact know that we are already making a major difference.

June Junior Scholar of the Month: Blythe

Since joining as a Junior Scholar in 2022, Blythe has flourished into a confident, resilient young musician. With outstanding commitment to her development, now playing Grade 6 and 7 acoustic repertoire, Blythe is a dedicated member of Lewisham Music Saturday Centre and folk group, regularly performing and sharing her love of music on stage.

“I enjoy how playing guitar is an outlet to expressing myself… putting emotion and experience into each note.”
