Welcome to the stage the newly revamped BABS Youth Project! 🤩

We are excited to relaunch the BABS Youth Project, dedicated to building opportunities for young people to build a community within the British barbershop world. The project is open to anyone aged 7-30 regardless of singing experience with sessions focused on building confidence, learning new skills and exploring barbershop music. 🎶

Our first event will be hosted on 23rd August in Birmingham with future events spread across the UK to engage communities across the UK.

Help support young singers and share this with your friends, family, and other chorus members, and spread the joy of barbershop singing! 🥰

😊 The Sing2026 convention is over and we're still recovering from how incredible of an experience it's been. We really hope everyone that attended enjoyed themselves as much as we did, as well as those joining us through the various livestreams.

If you have any feedback or thoughts about any aspect of the convention and the lead up to it, please let us know! Your opinions are invaluable to us as an association that focuses on our community, and we're always striving to make our conventions as best as they can be for every attendee.

First day of the convention is complete and the results are in! 🎉

Firstly, a huge well done to everyone who crossed the stage yesterday in both the mixed and male chorus contests, we loved every performance! With that being said, we'd like to congratulate the following groups on their achievements ✨

Sing2026 begins tomorrow! 🎶

We’re very excited to welcome you to Harrogate this weekend for an incredible display of harmony, community, and barbershop!

🕐 Event Start:
Doors open at 08:30 on both days of the event, with the chorus contest commencing at 09:00 on Saturday 23rd, and the quartet contest starting at 09:00 on Sunday 24th.

Did you know you don't HAVE to be competing to do some singing for an audience at ? 🧐

You can actually sign up for the open mic night which'll take place on Sunday in the Crowne Plaza Hotel at 9pm, emceed by Alan Hughes. This is a great opportunity to show off some arrangements you might not be able to air on the main stage, or display a different kind of musical performance - whatever it is, we want to hear it! Make sure to register early to have a better chance of getting yourself a spot in the queue.
