The weather looks dry and promising for Saturday (the 20th of June) where you can come and celebrate Midsummer in the gardens of the Danish Church in London by Regents Park.

For many years,we have celebrated Sankt Hans, and we are delighted to continue this cherished tradition once again. Bring your family and friends or come on your own and make new acquaintances. Feel free to invite neighbours and colleagues to experience the warmth, cosiness, and traditions of a Danish Midsummer celebration. Everyone is welcome, regardless of age.

As always, there will be stalls serving beer, wine, Faxe Kondi, and this year's special cocktails. We will also offer coffee, tea, Danish pastries, and, of course, hot dogs in a variety of colours and styles!

If hot dogs are not your thing, you are welcome to bring your own picnic. However, we kindly ask that you do not bring your own drinks.

Programme
18:00 – Garden and Stalls Open -Children can bake “stick-bread” over small, child-friendly fires (while supplies last).
18:00–19:30 – Special Exhibition Opening – The Kirsten Høst and Summer exhibition are both open, as well as the shop in the basement selling Danish design and food items.
19:30 – Gathering at the Bonfire -Welcome by Pastor Karsten Møller Hansen. Joined song led by Cantor Inge-Lise Nygaard. Bonfire speech by Elisabeth Valentine Kristiansen. Lighting of the bonfire
21:21 – During Sunset - The stalls close and the flag is lowered. We sing Der er et yndigt land together.
22:00 – The Garden close.

We look forward to celebrating Midsummer with you. You can get your tickets in the link via our bio or on the door.

THE LAST VIKING

A film by Anders Thomas Jensen. Starring Mads Mikkelsen & Nikolaj Lie Kaas.

Exclusively in cinemas (UK) from 26th June 2026.

After serving fifteen years in prison, bank robber Anker (Nikolaj Lie Kaas) is determined to recover the stolen money his brother Manfred (Mads Mikkelsen) buried years earlier. There’s just one problem: Manfred, caught in an identity crisis and convinced he is John Lennon, can no longer remember where it is hidden. The brothers set off on an increasingly chaotic hunt for the missing fortune, digging up old family secrets on the way.
