The Upper Norwood Association for Community Care (UNACC) is a fun and friendly lunch club and social centre for the over 50s living in Croydon and surrounding areas. se lunch. Whether you’re interested in taking in the surroundings on our Nordic Walking classes or enjoying the hot stone and tuning fork therapy after our seated keep fit class, UNACC has something for you! Classes

We have a simple Daily Rate pricing structure which is exceptional value and has something for everyone. Day Rate 2: £5.00 which includes unlimited tea, coffee a piece of cake or fruit and whichever activity on the day. Day Rate 3: £3.00 which includes unlimited tea, coffee a piece of cake or fruit or class only.

What Julie has to say about UNACC: I love UNACC as a local community space. It is a friendly environment where I meet to go Nordic walking on a Wednesday each week after which we enjoy tea and delicious home made cakes. It is a delightful part of my week which I would greatly miss if it was no longer operating.

The latest research shows what we have known for over 50 years - older people need to socialise in places like UNACC to combat frailty as they age.
This is very difficult to maintain when the voluntary sector in Croydon is not funded and places like us are left to close.
