Its mission is to:

Promote Christian unity through theological dialogue and shared witness. Support social dialogue on pressing global issues such as peace, justice, human rights, and ethical responsibility. Establish and maintain diplomatic relationships with high-ranking institutions, including governments, international bodies, and academic centers. Build bridges between churches and communities, overcoming historical divisions through a spirit of reconciliation and cooperation. Guided by the belief that faith can unite rather than divide, the Council works tirelessly to be a voice of peace, solidarity, and hope in today’s complex world.
