R has been coming to Success Club for a couple of years now, and has grown in confidence when there. This year, he has been helping with the younger children in Sunflowers: helping serve their lunches, checking where they are, alerting adults if he sees they are doing something they shouldn’t be, and supporting them to regulate. He has also been extending this helping hand to some of the mainstream children with additional needs

At our Holidays, Activities and Food programme, we have high needs SEND children who have 121 support and a separate base. However, our vision of inclusion means that these children join in with the mainstream activities as much as possible to create a more tolerant and supportive community. R has been coming to our holiday club for 3 years now, and with the support of specialist SEND staff is able to participate fully with our range of activities!

Wonderful to see the children collaborate today on a larger piece of artwork in our summer HAF scheme! Day three was full of adventure and blossoming friendships. Day four tomorrow will complete week one! It's been so lovely to get to know lots of new families this scheme.

Amazing weekend for Success Club, with our very own Head of Impact and Training, Jude, swimming 2km to raise funds for "Success Fest" - our nickname for the very last day of our Holiday Activities and Food scheme run in partnership with Enfield Council. Thanks to the money raised we'll have a festival style celebration with lots of special surprises in store for the children! 🥰 We'd love to tell you more but that would be giving the game away. You'll just have to look out for the updates !

Last Monday we were delighted to run an Interview Day with Crown Worldwide and Laurel Park School.

Thanks to these partnerships we were able to interview 53 young people across the day, giving them the opportunity to practice key skills crucial for interview settings in 15 minute slots. We also ran an interactive workshop, “Presenting myself for Success”, which helped the students practice how to make strong first impressions and develop interview techniques. We offered feedback to all students on their strengths and where they could develop.

Thank you so much to all those involved, who helped organise and run the day, and made it so successful. It was an amazing opportunity for young people to experience and prepare for the world outside of school, and to build confidence, self-trust, and communication skills necessary to thrive in professional environments.

Sponsorship is about so much more than writing a cheque.

Reflecting on Success Club's recent Charity Golf Day, our Operations and Business Development Manager Abi Colthrust shares why the most impactful sponsorships are built on shared values, genuine relationships and active involvement.

Thanks to 21 sponsors and a fantastic network of local businesses, we raised £4,398 at Friday's event to help ensure no child is left behind. But the real success was seeing businesses connect, collaborate and create lasting impact together.
