“Sometimes the right conversation can change everything.”

Sisters in Service are delighted to offer a limited number of funded coaching places for women veterans working in healthcare.

This opportunity is designed to support you to:
✨ Build confidence
✨ Gain clarity
✨ Navigate change
✨ Thrive both professionally and personally

Sessions will be delivered by - an experienced executive coach and mentor with a background across both the NHS and the military.

🗓 What’s included:
• One 90-minute coaching session per month
• Over a 6-month period
• Tailored 1:1 support focused on your goals and challenges

These sessions will be delivered by , an executive coach and mentor with experience across both the NHS and the military. Becky specialises in supporting women to build confidence, gain clarity, navigate change and thrive professionally and personally.

✨Veterans Mental Health Conference 2026 ✨

🧠 Sisters in Service attended the conference to hear about the current research that is being undertaken in mental health for the armed forces community including the future of Armed Forces mental health presented by , issues facing women veterans, and the impact of military sexual trauma.

🗣️ Dr Bex displayed her research on inpatient and residential treatment models for veterans and, of course, we took the opportunity to continue spreading the word about Sisters in Service.

✨National Day for Staff Networks 2026✨

Dr Bex spoke at the Derbyshire Healthcare network conference today on the theme of belonging.

She spoke about Sisters in Service and the importance of networks for women veterans, supporting transition from military service into careers where they feel able to thrive.

She also spoke of how networks can help:

✨ Provide Peer Support
✨ Reduce isolation
✨ Create Safe Spaces
✨ Amplify underrepresented voices
✨ Shape inclusive policies and practice

Sisters in Service was created to provide connection, support, advocacy, and mentorship for women veterans, helping members find belonging, understanding, and continued wellbeing.
