If you’re based in Europe, you can support us easily via PayPal, including setting up regular monthly donations to help children receive life-saving treatment.

Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us provide vital medications and access to treatment for children facing cancer.

What your support makes possible:
‣ On average our monthly PayPal donations total around €1,500, enough to cover a course of Eto-Gry, a medication used in brain tumour treatment, for one child.
‣ Total recurring donations received by Gift of Life via PayPal in 2025: €19,000, helped funding 60 vials of Foscavir, commonly used as part of post-transplant antiviral therapy, for one patient.

For those who would prefer to donate via bank transfer or crypto, please get in touch with us at: 📩 [email protected]

Together, we can continue to give children the chance to recover, grow, and look forward to the future. 💛

Earlier this year, four medical specialists supported by Gift of Life attended the 52nd Annual Meeting of the European Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (EBMT) in Madrid, one of the leading global congresses in the field of stem cell transplantation and cellular therapy.

Among them were Dr Maria Ilyushina and Daria Shashelevа, haematologists, Viktoria Vedmedskaya, a biologist specialising in transplant immunology at the Dmitry Rogachev Centre, and Larisa Fechina, Head of the Oncology and Haematology Centre in Yekaterinburg.

Events like EBMT provide access to the latest international research, new treatment approaches, and invaluable exchange with colleagues from around the world.

As Dr Ilyushina shared, insights from the congress, including advances in donor cell preservation, have the potential to significantly reduce waiting times for transplants in critical cases and improve patient outcomes.

For specialists like Vedmedskaya, this experience means bringing cutting-edge knowledge back into clinical practice, helping make treatments safer and more effective for children.

By supporting medical professionals, we help ensure that children receive not only treatment, but the most advanced care available 💛

“When I became a mother myself, I finally understood what my parents must have felt.” 💛

For Gift of Life’s 15th anniversary, we spoke with former patient Lidia about her journey through childhood cancer, recovery, and the life she has built today.

At 13 years old, Lidia was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia and urgently transferred to the Dmitry Rogachev Center, where she spent months undergoing intensive treatment.

Today, Lidia is 27 years old, living in France and raising two children of her own. More than a decade after treatment, her story is a reminder of what timely medical care, compassion, and support can make possible.

“It’s difficult to put into words. I am deeply grateful to everyone who helped me and my family. Your support gave strength to keep fighting, inspired to believe, and to keep living.”

Stories like Lidia’s remind us what 15 years of Gift of Life truly represent, not only treatment, but hope, time, and the chance to build a future.

Happy International Children’s Day to you and your little ones! 🎉💛

Today, we want to thank you for the compassion and generosity that continues to change children’s lives every single day.

From January to June 2026, Gift of Life supported 15 children undergoing treatment for cancer and severe blood disorders, helping provide urgent access to life-saving medicines and therapies.

🏥 Thanks to your support, we funded vital treatments including 200 vials of Foscavir, 120 vials of Defitelio, and 80 vials of Daunoblastin, alongside other urgently needed medicines and therapies. Total programme spending exceeded £187,000 covering both medical needs and educational programme expenses.

Behind every number are children whose lives have been touched by your kindness and support. 💛

This year also marks the 15th anniversary of Gift of Life. Since 2011, together with our supporters, we have helped more than 650 children and invested over £10.6 million into life-saving treatments, medicines, and educational programmes.

🙏 Thank you for standing with children and families during the most difficult moments of their lives. Together, we are giving children the chance to recover, grow up healthy, and look forward to the future.

12-year-old Egor is fighting acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. Would you help him live?

After months of intensive treatment and a stem cell transplant, Egor now urgently needs the medication Defitelio to prevent life-threatening liver complications. Through this urgent appeal, we are raising £7,350 (€8,500) towards Egor’s treatment and recovery.

Egor loves LEGO, dreams of becoming an architect, and hopes to one day return to school and his friends. Raised by his father, who has stayed by his side throughout treatment, Egor continues to fight with incredible strength every single day.

Gift of Life is urgently raising funds towards Egor’s vital medication. Every donation can help give Egor a chance to recover.

Larisa is only 2, and already she has faced an incredibly difficult journey. 💛

After a bone marrow transplant and months of serious complications, she has now been discharged from hospital and is finally home, continuing her recovery under medical supervision, an important and hopeful step forward.

With your support, during the most critical moments of Larisa’s treatment, we were able to provide a full course of Dificlir (£3,134), an essential antibiotic used to treat a persistent C. difficile infection.

Larisa’s story is a reminder of how long and complex recovery can be and how much your support means in helping children get back where they belong: at home with their families.
