Congratulations to Ahsan Ziban Islam!

On behalf of Chutodesh Welfare Association (CWA) UK, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to Ahsan Ziban Islam on graduating from Queen Mary University of London with a degree in Biomedical Science.

This is a proud achievement for Ahsan, his family, and our community. We are especially delighted for his father, Mr. Nurul Islam, the former Secretary of Chutodesh Welfare Association (CWA) UK, whose dedication to both his family and the community is well known.

May Allah (SWT) bless Ahsan with continued success, good health, wisdom, and barakah in every step of his future. May He grant him the opportunity to use his knowledge for the benefit of humanity.

Alhamdulillah, our General Meeting was successfully held today at Grand Rasoi, London.

Over excellent food and meaningful conversation, we discussed the progress of our association, reviewed our financial updates to ensure transparency, and, most importantly, addressed the issues affecting our roots,our beloved village, Chutodesh. We also shared ideas on how we can continue supporting our village and work together for its future development and well-being.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended, contributed to the discussions, and helped make the meeting a success. Your dedication and commitment are what continue to drive Chutodesh Welfare Association (CWA) UK forward.

We are very sad to hear that Hamidur Rahman, from our Chutodesh village who lives in Canada, was seriously injured in a hate crime attack. He is currently in a hospital in Canada receiving treatment.

The Chutodesh Welfare Association UK strongly condemns this cruel act of hate. We stand with Hamidur Rahman and his family during this difficult time.

We pray to the Almighty for his quick and complete recovery. May Allah bless him with good health soon. Ameen.

We were delighted to host a brief but meaningful gathering in London today to welcome a very special guest from our community, Mr. Burhan Uddin (Kapil), during his short visit from New York, USA.

Despite his busy schedule and limited time, members of our beloved Chutodesh village currently residing in London came together at a local restaurant to warmly receive him. Although many could not attend due to the short notice, the spirit of unity and brotherhood was truly inspiring.

ছোটদেশ ওয়েলফেয়ার এসোসিয়েশন (CWA) ইউকে-র ২০২৬-২৮ মেয়াদের নতুন কার্যনির্বাহী কমিটি গঠন

যুক্তরাজ্যে বসবাসরত ছোটদেশ গ্রামের প্রবাসীদের অন্যতম সামাজিক সংগঠন ছোটদেশ ওয়েলফেয়ার এসোসিয়েশন (CWA) ইউকে-র ২০২৬-২৮ বর্ষের নতুন কার্যনির্বাহী কমিটি ঘোষণা করা হয়েছে। সম্প্রতি সংগঠনের এক সাধারণ সভায় সর্বসম্মতিক্রমে এই নতুন নেতৃত্ব নির্বাচন করা হয়।
নতুন নেতৃত্বের মূল দায়িত্বে যারা আছেন:
সংগঠনের কার্যক্রমকে আরও গতিশীল ও জনকল্যাণমুখী করতে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ তিন পদে দায়িত্ব পেয়েছেন:
* সভাপতি: ফখরুল ইসলাম
* সাধারণ সম্পাদক: মাসুক আহমদ
* কোষাধ্যক্ষ: শামসুল হুদা চৌধুরী
নবনির্বাচিত নেতৃবৃন্দ সংগঠনের সকল সদস্যদের ধন্যবাদ জানিয়েছেন। এক যৌথ বিবৃতিতে তারা জানান, প্রবাসে নিজেদের ঐক্য বজায় রাখা এবং জন্মভূমির আর্তসামাজিক উন্নয়নে কাজ করাই তাদের প্রধান লক্ষ্য। বিশেষ করে শিক্ষা, স্বাস্থ্য ও সমাজসেবামূলক কাজে 'ছোটদেশ ওয়েলফেয়ার এসোসিয়েশন' আগের চেয়ে আরও বেশি সক্রিয় ভূমিকা পালন করবে।
নতুন কমিটি আগামী দুই বছর সংগঠনের গঠনতন্ত্র অনুযায়ী পরিচালনা পরিষদকে সাথে নিয়ে চ্যারিটি এবং কমিউনিটি সেবামূলক বিভিন্ন কর্মসূচি বাস্তবায়ন করবে।
