🏃‍♂️ Good luck to all our incredible runners taking on the Royal Parks Half Marathon tomorrow!

A special shout out to Eoin Dinneen, who will be running to support The Urology Foundation.

Eoin shared why he chose to support us:

"The Urology Foundation (TUF) is part of the urology family. TUF provide information for patients, funding for research, mentorship for surgeons, advocacy on urological issues, lobbying in Parliament and generally raising the profile of urology.

I know that every £ raised for TUF is valuable and it is in extremely safe hands. So if I can raise them some money whilst going for a run I am thrilled! I am looking forward to seeing the TUF supporters at mile 5 of the Royal Parks Half Marathon. I think it will be a proud and emotional moment."

Next Friday, 36 amazing supporters, including our very own Fundraising Manager Claire, will set off for Tanzania to take on a huge challenge: cycling almost 400km in just 5 days.

Together, they've already raised an incredible £140,000+ to support our vital work.

We can't wait to cheer them on every mile of the journey and share updates from Tanzania along the way! 🌍

This , we’re reminding everyone with testicles to take a few minutes to check their balls and get to know what’s normal for them.

Make it a regular habit by checking on the first Tuesday of every month. If you notice a lump, swelling or another change, speak to a healthcare professional.

As Urology Awareness Month comes to a close, we’re looking back on a memorable month.

Launching Worth Its Weight in Gold has been a huge highlight, and we’ve loved seeing the campaign embraced in so many different ways, from gold-themed landmarks and urine charts to bake sales, awareness days and events.

Along the way, we’ve celebrated awards, brought patients together and seen so many people help shine a light on urological health.

To every single person who has supported, shared or championed the campaign, thank you. We’ve been overwhelmed by your support. 💜

The month might be over, but our message isn’t: urine is wisdom, not waste. 💧

What a fantastic day!

On Friday, we welcomed people affected by bladder cancer to our Bladder Cancer Patient Information Day, for a day of information, support and conversation.

Our brilliant speakers covered so many different aspects of living with bladder cancer, from surveillance and the role patients can play in shaping research, to living with a urostomy, communicating with your healthcare team, sexual wellbeing and intimacy, and nutrition and recovery.

A huge thank you to all of our speakers for sharing their time and expertise, and to everyone who joined us and made the day what it was. 💜
