🌙 Anjuran Puasa Asyura
10 Muharram 1448 H | 25 Juni 2026

Rasulullah ﷺ bersabda:

“Puasa pada hari Asyura, aku berharap kepada Allah agar puasa itu menghapus dosa kecil setahun yang lalu.”

Bagi yang mampu, mari manfaatkan kesempatan mulia ini dengan berpuasa di hari Asyura.

Namun bagi yang tidak sanggup berpuasa, terutama di tengah cuaca panas dan kondisi heatwave di UK, masih banyak amalan baik yang dapat dilakukan, seperti memperbanyak istighfar, zikir, doa, sedekah, serta memberi makan orang yang berpuasa.

Semoga Allah SWT menerima amal ibadah kita, mengampuni dosa-dosa kita, dan menjadikan kita hamba yang senantiasa bersyukur. Aamiin.

**A Glimpse of Eid al-Adha at Indonesian Islamic Centre London**

Alhamdulillah, the Eid Prayer for 1447 Hijri at IIC London was conducted smoothly.

Our heartfelt thanks go to all volunteers and members of the jama'ahs who generously dedicated their time and energy in supporting the event (from the preparation stage through to the completion of the programme). Your spirit of cooperation and sincerity truly reflected the beauty of our community.

We would also like to share that the total infaq collected during this year’s Eid al-Adha 1447 H prayer amounted to **£1,833.79**.

Jazakumullahu ahsanal jaza to all brothers, sisters, and volunteers for your participation, contribution, and unwavering support. May Allah reward you abundantly for every effort made.

THE TAKBIR OF EID: MORE THAN JUST A TRADITION

Many Muslims are accustomed to proclaiming the takbir during the days of Eid. However, not everyone fully understands the distinction between Takbir Mutlak and Takbir Muqayyad, when each should be recited, and how they are practised according to the guidance of the Muslim scholars.

In reality, this discussion forms an important part of the sacred symbols (syi‘ar) of Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha, with detailed rulings extensively discussed in the classical books of fiqh.

📖 When does the takbir begin and end?
🕌 Should it be recited after every prayer?
⚖️ What is the difference between Takbir Mutlaq and Takbir Muqayyad?
📝 How did the scholars explain these rulings?

In this content we will try to explore these matters in a clearer and more systematic manner, supported with evidences and important practical notes that are often overlooked by the Muslim community worldwide.

May Allah grant us the ability to revive the sunnah of Eid upon sound knowledge and proper understanding. 🤲🏼

Dear Ikhwah Fillah,
With only three days remaining until Eid al-Adha, don’t forget to screenshot this post and check off which preparations you have completed. If there is anything left undone, now is the time to fulfill it.

Also, mark your calendar to observe the Fast of Arafah on Tuesday 26th May 2026. The virtue of this fast is عظيمة, as it is said to expiate the sins of the previous and coming year.

On this blessed day, prayers are not rejected, and Allah Swt descends to the lowest heaven to listen to His servants, hear their supplications, and grant their requests.

Therefore, prepare your best prayers, it may even help to write down your du’a list in a notebook.

Remember, do not ask only for worldly success, for the life of the Hereafter is eternal and everlasting. Do not limit what you ask for. This is among the greatest opportunities to seek from the Lord of the Universe, asking Him to transform destiny and turn human impossibilities into reality.

Share this post with your loved ones. As narrated in Sahih Muslim: “Whoever guides others to goodness will receive a reward similar to that of the one who performs it.”
