300 wishes granted (& counting!), Wish Granter Clodagh is really going the extra mile! 🏃‍♀️

Clodagh is one of the incredible Wish Granters at Rays of Sunshine. She has worked with families across the UK, granting wishes to more than 300 seriously and terminally ill children ✨

She’s running the London Marathon in loving memory of her brother Tyrone, who once received a wish to meet his favourite TV character, Bart Simpson, while living with a brain tumour.

Every step she takes honours his memory while helping create new moments of joy for other families.

57 runners. 26.2 miles. One incredible mission: granting magical wishes 🌞

Meet Team Sunshine 2026 - these runners are taking on the London Marathon this Sunday to help grant magical wishes for seriously ill children.

Keep an eye out for those sunshine-yellow vests on 26th April and give them a cheer!

We have a Wish Granter, former Wish Children, inspiring families and supporters - every runner has a powerful reason to run.

Every mile and penny raised will brighten the lives of families facing the darkest times 💛

£100,000 donated to brighten even more lives ⭐

We are absolutely delighted to have received a £100,000 donation from Bright Side, to help grant even more magical wishes for seriously and terminally ill children.

Bright Side is a charity set up by YouTube collective the Sidemen who raise funds through events like the Charity Match.

Our young people have had so many amazing experiences courtesy of Bright Side and The Sidemen over the years, from granting wishes for young people to VIP experiences at the football match.

The money donated will fund a Wish Granter for an entire year, as well as 45 wishes - allowing young people living with serious illnesses to make precious memories away from hospital.

We can't say thank you enough and good luck to both teams in tomorrow's match! ⚽

"It was so nice to be together somewhere so lovely, when we're usually at hospitals" 💛

For her wish, we sent 14-year-old animal lover Ella to Chester Zoo, so she could get up close to some of her favourite creatures 🦒

Ella has had to spend a lot of time in hospital for her health conditions, so she relished the opportunity to make memories elsewhere. We think her grin says it all!

This one's for all the siblings 💛

This , we’re sending love to the brothers and sisters of seriously ill children who bring strength, comfort and friendship through the hardest times 🫂

To honour the day, we're sharing a poem written by Ben about his sister, Maddie. Ben and Maddie are both treasured members of our Wish Community and Sunshine Choir, and Ben has been one of Maddie's biggest supporters as she spends time in hospital for cancer treatment.

To all the siblings out there - keep being amazing! 🌞

Michael's "bear-y" special Paddington wish 🐻

If there's one thing 7-year-old Michael loves, it's Paddington Bear. For his wish, we sent his family to London to watch the Paddington Musical!

Michael has spent a lot of time in hospital in his life, including for a kidney transplant. We're so glad his wish gave him the chance to have a much-deserved adventure 💛

"Beautiful sunrise, beautiful scenery, and a brilliant cause - what more could you ask for?" 🌞

We're excited to be heading back to Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) on 21 June 2026 for another special sunrise trek!

Climbers set off just after midnight, arriving at the summit just in time for a very special sunrise - all while fundraising to grant more magical wishes for seriously and terminally ill children.

Our trekkers had so much fun doing this challenge last year, and it could be you in 2026!

A wish fit for a zookeeper-in-training 🦁

5-year-old Arthur absolutely loves animals and wants to be a zookeeper when he grows up. For his wish, we sent his family to West Midlands Safari Park so he could get up close to all his favourite animals 💛

After spending a lot of time in hospital for leukaemia treatment, Arthur's wish was the perfect way to make some new "wild" memories!

When Joey met Peppa Pig! 💛

For his wish, we sent 5-year-old Joey to Peppa Pig World at Paultons Park with his family, so he could meet all his favourite characters! The break was filled with fun memories and smiles 😀

Joey was diagnosed with a brain tumour as a baby and has had to spend a lot of time in hospital. But his wish was the perfect way for his family to step away from the hospital appointments for a time and focus on having lots of fun 🌞

Ariella's Smyths Toys Superstores sweep 🛒

For her wish, our friends at Smyths Toys helped us treat 4-year-old Ariella to an all-expenses-paid toy shopping trip!

From cuddly teddies, to dolls and games, Ariella wasted no time filling her trolley. And to top it all off, Princess Elsa herself arrived to gift Ariella with a very special Frozen-themed bicycle ❄️

After a lot of time spent in treatment for Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis, Ariella's wish totally "wowed" her, according to her mum 💛
