The discounted bowls section is now the discounted products section. 🥳

The discounted bowls I listed last time went down so well that I looked around my showroom to see what else I had in storage that wasn’t perfect aesthetically but still perfectly usable.

There is no point in wasting these products, especially if it means you get to add new wellbeing instruments, tools and rituals to your collection at a discounted price.

So I won’t just be listing crystal singing bowls. I’ll be adding products from across the I Know This Girl collection too.

If you have been waiting to try pieces from the new launches, this is a great opportunity. I have just listed discounted Sound Meditation Cushions and Sleep Masks to the shop.

You probably won’t even notice these imperfections. (But I did which is why I haven’t sold them yet!)

💫 On the Sound Meditation Cushions, the label is stitched to the bottom side (where the zipper is) instead of the top side, where I wanted it to be visible whenever you sat on it.

💫 On the Eye Masks, the branded tag has been stitched upside down.

These are small manufacturing errors from the final stages of the design process. So the items themselves are still fully functional.

Order yours from the discounted section on the I Know This Girl website.

💬 I get a lot of messages about crystal singing bowls in 432 and 440 Hz.

While I can help you find a bowl at a specific Hz (I’m always happy to help you find the bowl that aligns with you), I want to make sure you understand what this means and how it will impact your practice.

I often find myself in conversations about 432 Hz, 440 Hz and other tunings because I’ve noticed some confusion and misunderstandings around what they actually mean.

I share what you need to know about crystal singing bowl tunings in a new blog on the I Know This Girl website. It is a bit of a technical one so feel free to message me if you have any questions.

I’m here to help you feel confident in the next addition to your singing bowl collection, whether it’s 432 Hz, 440 Hz or another tuning that feels good to you. ✨

Starter Set ✨ Self-Expression, Personal Power & Enlightenment.

A three-bowl set is a great way to start a quartz crystal singing bowl collection. You have room to explore different notes, tones and sizes without getting overwhelmed as you build your confidence in playing multiple bowls at once.

I curated this trio because the notes harmonise beautifully and they span the lower/mid range sizes which translates to centring and accelerating tones.

I’ve called it the Self-Expression, Personal Power & Enlightenment set because these notes encourage healthy expression of the throat, solar plexus and crown chakras, inviting you into your personal power and highest self.

Shop the set for 5% off a multi-bowl purchase. You can see the other crystal singing bowl sets we have available on the website. Or book a consultation to curate your own set of three with the same 5% off discount.

Find everything through the link in my bio.

I’m playing:

💖 6-inch B  - Crown Chakra
💖 7-inch G - Throat Chakra
💖 8-inch E - Solar Plexus

Discounted bowl highlight 🎶 7-inch G3+10 Chalice Bowl with Case on sale for £285.

This crystal singing bowl is one of the first in our discounted bowls section. I created this part of our collection for singing bowls that sound just as beautiful as any of our other bowls but have a slight cosmetic imperfection.

By selling these bowls at a discounted price, I ensure they still find homes and share their healing vibrations with the world while also making crystal singing bowls financially accessible to more people.

As you can see on this bowl, the top of the bowl, around the rim, is not perfectly circular, resulting in a slight curve on one edge. This means there is a slightly different feeling when playing the bowl around the rim due to its shape. However, this does not affect the bowl's sound quality or tone.

If you’re not worried about how the bowl looks, only how it sounds, this is a great opportunity to buy a pure quartz singing bowl at 40% off.

Take a closer look at this bowl on the website, then book a consultation so I can ensure it fits within your sound healing collection.

Keep an eye on the discounted section of the website for more bowls like this.

Living in the modern world, one of the biggest challenges to our wellbeing is how to tell our nervous system it’s safe to switch off.

The distinction between when we need to be alert and awake and when we need to rest and relax isn’t as clear as back in the caveman days. It’s not distinguished by daylight hours or even our environment and activities. We both look at screens to work and to relax.

No wonder so many of us feel like we are constantly in fight-or-flight mode and don’t know how to wind down enough to reach the all-important rest-and-digest mode. This nervous system state doesn’t only feel relaxing but it’s also when our body performs essential restorative functions like cellular repair.

There are relaxation techniques that send a signal to the body it’s time to switch from the sympathetic to the parasympathetic nervous system. Crystal singing bowls are one of them.

👉 I share why deep rest is so important and how crystal singing bowls can help you achieve it in the latest blog on the I Know This Girl website. Give it a read to ensure you’re getting the rest you really need.

Last week I spent my 43rd birthday in Skiathos, Greece with my lovely friend . It was just the trip I needed to top me back up.

I’m going to be honest 42 was a challenging year for me and this trip brought back my joy. The sun, sea, sand, adventure, good company and a week of no pain was just what the doctor ordered 🌊 🌞 🏝️

You might have all read about my recent house move. Not all out of choice, but I’ve moved three times in three years. Moving your home and business is exhausting and expensive and so I’ve missed out on the summer festival fun and summer holiday that I’d normally book. As soon as I moved into my last house in Bristol I knew it wasn’t right, I made an impulse decision as I was running out of time, never a good thing. However, I was tied into a year’s contract so had to stay put. I made the most of it but never felt at home and so never got settled.

Now I’m in Stroud and from the first day I arrived it felt like home, I walked up the hill to my closest common and got shivers down my spine, I knew this was where I was supposed to be, a feeling I was seeking but hadn’t yet found. I imagined seeing trees and gorgeous greenery out my windows and my new cottage-like home has just that. I feel very lucky and I’m not planning on moving now for a LONG time. Starting again isn’t easy but it was the right decision.

Life feels like a rollercoaster of many highs and lows, we all want an easy ride but when you come out the other side of a big dip those little moments of peace feel even more precious. I can feel an emerging of coming out of the other side of a very difficult year and am grateful for all it’s taught me.

I’ve just written a personal blog on my journey with endometriosis (and it’s evil twin adenomyosis). If you think it might offer some insight or guidance please give it a read (link in bio).

Here’s to being 43 and fabulous 🤗🎉

Get involved with our new pre-loved crystal singing bowl collection. 💖

Pre-loved items are such an important part of the circular economy, reducing waste, allowing pieces to live on and offering a more affordable shopping option. Some of the best things I’ve ever bought have been second-hand!

So I’m really excited to be bringing a pre-loved service to I Know This Girl, especially as second-hand crystal singing bowls have even greater meaning.

A crystal singing bowl that has been part of someone else’s collection is pre-charged. ✨ Each time they played the bowl, they activated its frequencies and enriched the bowl with energy from different places, people and souls.

The pre-loved crystal singing bowls we sell will come from you, our community, will be tested by me to ensure quality, and then offered to you, our community, at a discounted price.

I will list the available pre-loved bowls on the I Know This Girl website and they will be sold exclusively through the Stroud showroom.

For now, we’re looking for pre-loved bowls to add to our available collection. 🎶 Fill out a form about the crystal singing bowl you’d like to pass on and I’ll get back to you with all the information you need to sell it through I Know This Girl.

Doing nothing doesn’t necessarily equal resting. 👇

As a sound practitioner, I have spent many hours facilitating sound baths that guide people into deep rest. I’m fascinated by the body and its stress/relaxation responses because of what I have witnessed during these sessions.

Simply stopping and doing nothing doesn’t always turn on the body’s rest-and-digest response. In the modern world, where working can look like sitting in front of a computer, the body doesn’t know it’s safe to switch off just because you’re not active.

So sometimes the body gets stuck in fight-or-flight. It’s still prepared to quickly respond to danger and postpones restorative bodily functions that keep us feeling rested, happy and healthy.

How do we tell our nervous system it’s safe to relax? Certain techniques send a signal to move from fight-or-flight mode into rest-and-digest mode, including the calming vibrations of crystal singing bowls.

I explain all in my latest blog. ✨ Discover what we really mean by deep rest and how to reach the restorative relaxation you’re craving by visiting the I Know This Girl website.
