Join us tomorrow at the Merano Wine Festival, where our co-founder, Ekaterina Moniava, will take part in a panel discussion alongside Dato Turashvili and Beso Khaindrava.

Ekaterina will explore the fascinating history of Georgian wine label design during the Soviet era (1950–1990), sharing insights into the visual culture and storytelling behind these iconic labels.

If this topic interests you, we'd be delighted to see you in the audience.

A heartfelt thank you to all cARTveli friends and supporters who made this project possible. Without your support, this research and exhibition could not have happened.

Special thanks to Bondo Kalandadze 🙏🏻✨ without his knowledge and dedication, this research could not have uncovered the real stories behind the archive.

We are happy to introduce the first exhibition at Tbilisi Art Fair of cARTveli Art Foundation’s ongoing research project exploring Soviet Georgian Graphic Product Design from 1950–1990.

“All That Material Culture” uncovers a forgotten chapter of Georgian industrial graphic design and brings together the works of three remarkable graphic designers: Severian Ketskhoveli (1906–1980), Anri Samashvili (1931–2008), and Tsotne Moniava (1932–1996).

The exhibition is presented as a research method — connecting archives, memory, design, and contemporary visual culture.
