** Shoebox Appeal - 25 Years!! **

After 25 wonderful years - we can't quite believe we're saying it out loud but this will be our last year. It has been such a huge part of our lives, and we’re beyond proud of everything we've achieved together. We’re so grateful for the love and support we’ve received along the way. Link to Hope is an outstanding charity providing humanitarian support to the most vulnerable. We’ve seen their impact first-hand in Romania, and we remain proud to support their vital work.

As they grow from strength to strength, it feels like the right time for us to wrap our final box and take on a new challenge.
We can't begin to thank everyone properly in one update, so we'll be taking time to do so properly over the next few months. Until then...

🎉TO CELEBRATE AND SAY THANK YOU... 🎉
we’re going to do things a little differently this year.

We won’t be running a separate fundraising appeal, but we WILL be hosting a packing party with a difference – in the Link to Hope warehouse in Worthing on Saturday, 16th November. We’ll remain a drop-off point until the end of the campaign and will be collecting all the donations we’ve received throughout the year and taking them with us to the warehouse.

We’ll do our best to support anyone who wants to join us for that final step, before the boxes are loaded onto the delivery vans. If you'd like to be part of it, we’ll find a way to get you there.

Thank you to everyone who supported us - cash, gifts, time, skills, equipment, miles, food, storage, deliveries, messages of support... it all counts and we're super grateful.

Boxes are being picked up tomorrow. They will go via the Worthing warehouse and will be delivered before Christmas.

Thanks to the FITCH (fun in the church) team at Horley Methodist Church for their contribution to the project - they have been fundraising for weeks, collecting donations, knitting and shopping.

The kids learn about the shoebox appeal as part of Sunday school and have made presentations to the main congregation about their efforts and why it's important for them to be part of this annual project, often answering questions from the adults and helping out with all the tidying up too!

The project is always embraced by the whole church and we're super grateful for their efforts and generosity.

Friday night deliveries. 🙌 This time from the wonderful team at Clifford Chance LLP. Thank you to Angela for coordinating - they have donated x40 filled boxes, bought items from our Amazon wish list, covered the postage for every box AND... the law firm has kindly agreed to match the money raised and add this to the £ total which will go straight to Link to Hope too.
