We are a new EU funded project called SPIRIT, delivered by the environmental charity Groundwork London. Our training and advice helps people to keep warm and well in their homes while reducing their energy usage and energy bills. We are therefore helping people both save money and reduce their impact on the environment. We work with local communities across London, offering free energy advice trai
ning and advice sessions. Our advice sessions are open to all and our advice is particularly valuable for those people who are vulnerable or on a low income. Our Energy advice training sessions are fun and interactive, and can be tailored to the needs of any group. As part of the project we give away a number of freebies such as electricity monitors, and water saving devices. We are especially looking for volunteers from faith groups; this is because we want to be able to reach all parts of the community. By working with us, our faith group volunteers can express their faith through taking positive action against climate change and by helping fellow members of their community who are in need.
