For too long, justice has been denied to migrants and asylum seekers—swept aside by a system built on deception, abuse of power, and institutional silence.
Across the United Kingdom, and particularly in Scotland, countless lives have been shattered not by due process, but by falsehoods—fabricated accounts deliberately constructed and fed to the Home Office by individuals trusted with the care of the vulnerable. In a recent LBC interview, a Labour MP openly acknowledged what many of us have known for years: those contracted by the Home Office to care for migrants have, in fact, played a central role in their mistreatment.
In this climate of unchecked racism, systemic oppression, and impunity, silence is no longer an option.
RawCourage stands firm in its position: unless those responsible are named and held publicly accountable, the abuse will continue, and more lives will be destroyed.
We name them now: Brian Kelly, Malcolm Brown, and John Sneddon—employees of Mears Group, the company contracted by the Home Office to provide housing and support to migrants in Scotland. These individuals have, for years, operated with impunity—spreading lies, manipulating records, and contributing directly to the suffering and destabilisation of the very people they are paid to support.
They are not anomalies. They are symptoms of a wider, rotting system.
Mears Scotland—particularly its operations in Glasgow—must answer for the trauma inflicted under its watch. Accountability is not optional. Justice delayed is justice denied.
We will not allow these names to be buried. We will not allow this story to be ignored. And we will not rest until there is truth, reckoning, and restitution.
The time for complicity is over. The time for justice is now.
