Fantastic day at the - great to see all of the exhibitors and catch up with Sea Cadets cadets and CFAV from around the Country . We were also treated to a display by the Red Arrows in their revised 7 aircraft format.

Had a fantastic evening celebrating TS Bee’s opening. Hoofing effort by all involved to create a unit ready for the future. Well done TS Bee, and thank you for hosting us so well. Can’t wait to follow how the unit develops into the future - good luck TS Bee!!🐝 ⚓️❤️

What a fantastic weekend - the pinnacle for RM Cadets. I was massively impressed by the grit, determination and enthusiasm on show by all of the detachments! In challenging conditions you all absolutely smashed it 💪🏻⚓️

Huge shout out to Support Company and the cast of CFAVs, RM personnel and other enablers that came together to deliver this weekend. You dealt with every curve ball to deliver a fantastic product for the Cadets. BZ and thank you. I can’t wait for next year!

Great to meet you all - thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Bradford, BZ TS Aurora!

Last night, the Ship’s Company had the privilege of welcoming Captain Sea Cadets, Captain Hannah MacKenzie, and Eastern Area Senior Staff Officer, Lt Col Prollins, to the unit for a unit visit.

The visit provided a fantastic opportunity to showcase the hard work, dedication, and achievements of our cadets and volunteers. We would like to thank Captain MacKenzie and Lt Col Prollins for taking the time to visit us and meet with our Ship’s Company.⚓️

Captain Sea Cadets, Captain Hannah MacKenzie VR RN has a message for our dedicated volunteers:

"As we celebrate Volunteers’ Week 2026, it’s the perfect time for me to reflect on the incredible volunteer-led outcomes and achievements I’ve witnessed during my first six months as Captain Sea Cadets. Firstly, thank you to all the amazing command teams, instructors and trustees who have welcomed me into their units during my travels so far. Your passion and dedication has been truly inspirational – and I know that your hard work and positive impact is being replicated in units across the UK.

To every single one of our volunteers: I am absolutely humbled by the effort and commitment you show, week after week, rain or shine. The way you always put your cadets first; your pride in seeing them achieve their potential; and the support you show to your colleagues – that is the bedrock of the Sea Cadets family, and I am so honoured to be your Captain. Because of you, our young people are gaining the confidence, resilience and strong values they'll need to be the leaders (and volunteers) of the future! On behalf of everyone at MSSC, I offer my deepest thanks. BZ!"

Had a lovely evening with TS Wizard! Fantastic first aid lesson learning how to dress wounds to the hand and putting a casualty in the recovery position. Was great to get some steps in by walking to and from the unit too - a nice change! BZ TS Wizard! 🫡⚓️❤️
