Had a lovely evening with TS Wizard! Fantastic first aid lesson learning how to dress wounds to the hand and putting a casualty in the recovery position. Was great to get some steps in by walking to and from the unit too - a nice change! BZ TS Wizard! 🫡⚓️❤️

I was honoured to be at the Dining Out and Dining In of outgoing and incoming Commanding Officer! A wonderful evening, volunteers across the country came together to celebrate two dedicated volunteers.

Over the past five years, Capt (SCC) Eddie Pownall has pushed the unit through challenging times, not least through the Covid Pandemic, and the unit had grown and excelled under his leadership. He now steps down as Commanding Officer, but will continue to support the unit. On behalf of all of I’d like to thank Eddie for all his time and efforts supporting Sefton Sea Cadets.

I am delighted to see Lt Cdr (SCC) Fay Taylor take the helm of this thriving unit. An experienced volunteer, Fay brings over three decades of experience and leadership to this role, and I am sure that the unit will continue to grow and thrive under her Command.

BZ and good luck all!

Congratulations and good luck to everyone receiving their A-Level results today! No matter your grades, the time, effort, and dedication you’ve had to your education should be celebrated!

As a former teacher and headteacher, I know the importance of your effort you have put into learning, and each and every one of you should be proud of that! When I completed my A-Levels, I had a range of grades, and now I completed a Masters in Education - the most important part is your dedication and willingness to learn!

I wish you all the best for the future!
