📢 Educators we need YOU!

We have recently launched our EdTech Evidence Board survey in partnership with the Department for Education.

We’d like to hear from everyone working in schools or colleges, whatever your role and however much (or little) you use technology yourself.

The survey forms part of research we are conducting into how educators find, select and use EdTech - and what support you might require to confidently make these choices.

There are no right answers, and views from people who are cautious about technology, or don’t see it as a priority, are just as valuable to us as those from technology enthusiasts.

Sign up for this Autumn term webinar to help you plan for the new school year ahead. ⬇️

In this session, Katy Chedzey will be joined by Nicola Arkinstall who will introduce the NIoT Evidence Portal, a free resource that brings together research and professional insight to support more informed decision-making about professional learning. The Portal is designed not to provide simple answers, but to support you as educators to interpret evidence critically and apply it thoughtfully in practice.

The session will include a deeper exploration of the Inclusive Professional Learning strand. Drawing on international research, this strand considers how professional learning can be designed to support you to engage meaningfully as teachers, develop your practice, and experience a sense of belonging and agency.

Today we have published the first edition of our new publication, In Praxis, in collaboration with Twinkl. ✨

It features a variety of case studies and compact guides, all with the aim of turning educational research into actionable classroom strategies for teachers.

The first edition is focused on SEND and Inclusion, and will help schools put evidence-informed inclusive practice into action and create learning environments where children and young people with SEND can thrive. It has been guest-edited by SEND specialists Georgina Durrant and Margaret Mulholland.
