The Yorkshire Three Peaks in 10 hours 28 minutes. ⛰️

Randeep and Michelle from our team took on the challenge for our charity partner, Smile of Hope, a Mottingham-based charity supporting children with life-limiting conditions and their families.

With very little time to train, they had the reassurance of the slower group to fall back on, but they ended up keeping pace with the faster one.

Their guide expected the team to take 14 hours. They knocked 45 minutes off his estimate on the final and highest peak, then sprinted the last stretch to get in under 10.5 hours, on the first attempt for both of them.

🚨 LIVE EVENT UPDATE – WE LOVED TAKING ON THE THREE PEAKS! 🚨
What a weekend! The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge is officially DONE and what an incredible effort from every single walker, helper and supporter involved. This was teamwork, determination and pure fun ( and a bit of pain!) from start to finish.

A brilliant mix of speed, grit, humour, and sheer stubbornness got us through the Dales, and every single person should be proud of what they achieved.
🏔️ The Results
7 walkers completed all 3 peaks and 25 miles in just over 10 hours — an absolutely phenomenal time.
5 walkers completed 2 peaks and 20 miles,(sadly stopped due to pending darkness ) Still a huge achievement and a massive effort. A big thanks to Sean and Amy from northernmountainguides.co.uk who went above and beyond to look after us
Everyone gave everything. Everyone finished safely. Everyone contributed to an unforgettable challenge.
🤣 Saturday Night Shenanigans – The Quiz That Nearly Started a Riot
After the walk, we headed to The Old Hill Inn next door for one of Steve Roebuck’s famous quizzes.
It was Boys vs Girls… It was competitive… It was loud… It was so intense it nearly kicked off back at the bunkhouse.
But it was brilliant fun and the perfect end to a huge day on the hills.

Hopefully by now our intrepid explorers are all home and safe after their exciting weekend. We can’t thank you all enough for what you have done for Smile of Hope, over £9000 raised which is now earmarked for your good causes . Once again our heartfelt thanks and I heard a whisper that you may be tackling Kilimanjaro next year 😂😂😂
