Long before the census in Britain had a box for 'Arab', Yemeni, Syrian, Lebanese and many other Arab communities were arriving and settling here for centuries.

So how have Arabs in the UK been written about historically and how can we celebrate Arab identity in the UK?

Join us for a town hall discussion where we'll map our journeys, dig into how Arabs have been portrayed, and talk about what we want to see happen moving forward.

Bring your opinions, your questions and your family's story.

Heritage belongs to the community.

We’re working to dismantle the barriers between museums and the people whose histories they hold. It’s time to bring these belongings back to the community.
