🎩 𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐁𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐢! 🎂

Today, on what would have been his birthday, we remember one of the world's most famous entertainers, Harry Houdini (born 5 September 1874).

Known for his extraordinary escape acts, daring illusions and remarkable showmanship, Houdini captivated audiences around the globe and became a household name. Less widely known is that he was also a Freemason, being initiated into St. Cecile Lodge No. 568 in New York in 1923.

As we celebrate his life and legacy, we're reminded that Freemasonry has attracted members from all walks of life, including explorers, inventors, artists, sportsmen and, of course, world famous magicians!

West Kent Freemasons were delighted to present The Scotts Project Trust with a £𝟑,𝟐𝟎𝟎 grant from The Freemasons' Charity to fund a new overhead projector for their Day Care Centre near Tonbridge.

Seeing first hand the positive impact this equipment is already having on adults with learning disabilities was truly inspiring.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who continues to support our charitable work. Your generosity helps local charities like Scotts Project Trust make a real difference in our community. 👏
