The Honourable Artillery Company is a registered Charity (No. 208443), but its almost half a millennium of history belies its true value as an integral institution in the heart of the City of London. From its support to the HAC Regiment and other military and civilian emergency services to providing unparalleled corporate hospitality, the HAC is a unique organisation. It is the Headquarters and home for HAC members current and veteran across the world.

Last night we gathered for the St George’s Dinner — the Company’s most celebrated event of the year.

The occasion brought together exceptional dining, warm camaraderie, and a shared appreciation of long-standing tradition in honour of St George.

We were delighted to welcome a number of distinguished guests, including our guest speaker, His Excellency Mr Warren Stephens, the American Ambassador, who attended with his wife Harriet. His address was a highlight of the evening.

An occasion marked by elegance, good company, and enduring spirit.

Today marks what would have been the 100th birthday of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. As the longest reigning monarch in British history, Her Majesty maintained a profound and enduring connection with the Armed Forces and served as Captain General of the HAC for 64 years. Today we remember some of Her Majesty’s visits to the HAC throughout her reign.

In this portrait, Her Majesty visited the HAC on 1st June 2016 to unveil a commemorative bust of herself. The late Queen also signed the Vellum book on numerous occasions during many visits to the Company.

In February, a member of the Light Cavalry and a dedicated team of volunteers braved harsh winter conditions to deliver vital humanitarian aid to a ranch north of Kyiv.

With three 4x4 vehicles and two horse trailers carrying two tons of supplies, the mission supported both frontline needs and a remarkable rescue effort—saving eight horses from areas close to the conflict. Now safe, they are receiving care, rehabilitation, and a second chance.

Beyond rescue, the ranch provides life-changing equine-assisted therapy for veterans, families, and children affected by war—helping rebuild trust, confidence, and wellbeing.

This mission reflects our continued commitment to service, welfare, and supporting those facing the realities of conflict.

A huge thank you to everyone who made last night’s Members’ Evening such a fantastic success 🙌🏻

With representation from the Active Unit, the ceremonial sub-units and our societies & associations, the event was a great opportunity to connect and learn more about HAC activity.

Members even had the chance to get up close to the impressive L118 105mm Light Gun, explore equipment and ammunition examples and take a look at ration packs.

We were delighted to welcome new members, reconnect with familiar faces and continue to strengthen our Company community - and as always - Searcys provided an exceptional spread. 🍽️
