Skate 2 Elevate is part of Ebony I.N.K CIC which is a newly formed not for profit organisation. Skate 2 Elevate is the predecessor of Let's Roll CIC which aims to continue the valuable and impactive work that Let's Roll provided. Bringing roller skating coaching, events, activities , collabative projects and employability routes within the skating sector.

Looking for something fun, active and totally engaging for your child? We’ve got you!
Children aged 8–16 can join free roller‑skating sessions in Walthamstow — packed with skating techniques, games, freestyle, and amazing vibes!
🗓 4‑week block: 
Fridays, 30 Jan – 27 Feb 
⏰ 5pm – 6:30pm 
📍 Walthamstow Library, E17 7JN 
(No session on 20 Feb – half term)
✔ Safety equipment provided 
✔ Bring your own skates or hire for £10 for all 4 sessions

Family skate - 12pm - 1.30pm
Intermediate/advanced 2.30pm -4pm

**Calling Waltham Forest male skaters**
Ebony I.N.K CIC are around to present
"Rolling with the Man dem" a 8-week skate-based workshop programme created to support young Black males in our community.

The project addresses long-term barriers to mental health support and fosters skill development. It encourages community empowerment through movement, mentorship, and meaningful connection.

Today we start the promotion of the project. If you are or know any skaters aged 13-25 who may be Interested in taking part please could you share the post. The link to the register your interest form and video are below!

For many years, roller skating in Waltham Forest has been limited to a handful of indoor venues due to the stigma and fear of floor damage. Time and time again, venues would say “no” to roller skating sessions in central community buildings—creating a real barrier to increasing participation across the borough.

But last month marked a shift in mindset! 🙌 With the support of Elysia and Jill London Borough of Waltham Forest, roller skating is now taking place in Walthamstow Central Library. 👏

It’s time for other spaces—like the Epicentre, Priory Court, and other council-owned buildings—to open their doors to skating too.

Rolling into 2025 , the Skate 2 Elevate team have partnered up with Waltham Forest council to provide a free taster session for young people aged 8 - 16.
We are looking for beginner skaters who would like to try skating for the first time or have skates but not sure how to skate properly!

Friday 28th February at the Walthamstow Central Library.

Two sessions available:
4.30pm - 5.30pm
5.30pm - 6.30pm

The session is an introduction to the up and coming funded skate sessions, which will consists of 4 week blocks of free skate lessons.

Session are provided by qualified coach and skate marshals.

Please bring your own skates if you have them!
Skates will be provided for those who don't have , please ensure you indicate your size on the form.
