Sincere thanks to nearly 2000 wonderful artists who entered the RSMA open this year, and congratulations to all who had work selected.

Judging art will always be subjective - please don't be discouraged if your work didn't make it through this year.

All submissions were carefully considered, within the context of each other and the RSMA parameters. Ten judges sit on the panel, and each piece needs at least 7 votes to go through. It's a lengthy, discursive process that everyone takes seriously. If yours didn't make it through this year, that doesn't mean it won't in 2027.

We are very pleased with the selection that will go on show from September 16th. See you there!

I’m honoured to have had my painting ‘Between the Lines’ selected for this year’s Royal Society of Marine Artists Annual Exhibition at the Mall Galleries in London. So delighted - thank you to the selectors!
The exhibition runs from 17th-26th September, 10am -5pm.
