UKATA has been out and about! đź‘‹

Over the past few months, our Managing Director, Kerryn Bell, has been visiting Registered Training Establishments and meeting more of the people who make up our TA community.

Recently, she’s visited the Connexus Institute and TA East, as well as attending the UKCP Conference and representing UKATA at a UKCP governance review meeting in London.

It’s been a useful opportunity to hear directly from people across the TA community and stay connected with what’s happening across training and practice.

There are more visits planned, so if you see Kerryn at your RTE or an upcoming event, do come and say hello!

Last week members of the Transactional Analysis community came together online to celebrate a very special milestone - the 50th anniversary of the European Association for Transactional Analysis (EATA). 🎉

It was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on five decades of learning, collaboration, and the continued growth of Transactional Analysis across Europe, while recognising the many people who have contributed to EATA's journey over the years.

Thank you to EATA for bringing the community together to mark this occasion, and to everyone who joined the celebrations.

If you couldn't make it to the event, you can watch the recording via the link below.

Here's to the next 50 years!

Have you been thinking about writing for The Transactional Analyst?

This edition, we'll be revisiting UKATA Conference 2027, and we'd particularly love to hear from members who presented a workshop this year or at a previous UKATA Conference. If you'd like to develop your workshop into an article, we'd be delighted to consider it. Articles of any length up to 3,000 words are welcome.

We're also keen to receive a range of contributions from members, including essays, opinion pieces, new theoretical perspectives, personal reflections, poems, creative writing, and students' early practice experiences.

If you have an idea or would like to discuss a potential article, we'd love to hear from you.
