Supporting the work of Teenage Cancer Trust comes in all shapes, sizes, capacities & possibilities 💙

Via our friends at Work For Good, the mother of a Young Person who was supported by the charity before see sadly died, has created a range of aromatherapy products as part of her business, where 10% of every sale does directly to our work to make sure that no young person has to face cancer alone.

Your experience could help shape the future of cancer care in Wales.

The Wales Cancer Alliance and Macmillan Cancer Support are holding a series of engagement events to gather views and experiences that will help inform the development of Wales' new National Cancer Strategy. One of these - on Wednesday, October 14th - is specifically looking at the experiences of children and young people.

Young people are often overlooked when it comes to cancer policy, so at Teenage Cancer Trust we're really keen that teenagers and young adults who have experienced cancer have a chance to have their voices heard.
The event is online and runs from 4pm to 6pm. 2

Ray Caldwell has create this fantastic Legacy in memory of Michael.

"I’m a licensed private-hire driver and will personally provide free, pre-booked hospital transport for young people and young adults in North Wales who are facing a serious or potentially life-threatening illness and experiencing genuine difficulty accessing suitable transport.

The official launch will be on Michael’s birthday, 3 December 2026, with the first aim of completing 26 free hospital journeys in memory of Michael’s 26 years. I may also be able to help with suitable journeys before the official launch, depending on availability.

Journeys may include chemotherapy, radiotherapy, scans, investigations, procedures, specialist consultations, hospital treatment and travel to specialist centres elsewhere in Wales or England.

Patients may travel with parents, partners, carers, siblings or other support people where space allows.

This is not an ambulance or clinical patient transport service. Passengers must be suitable to travel in an ordinary licensed private-hire vehicle."

“I set up Michael’s 26 in memory of my son, Michael, because I wanted his name to continue doing something positive. I already have the vehicle, the licence and the ability to help, so providing free hospital transport felt like a practical way of making a real difference to young people and families who may be struggling with transport at an already difficult time.

There is also a personal connection behind it. The taxi business I run was originally named after my two sons, Mike and Tom, around 20 years ago. It means a great deal to me that something which has carried Mike’s name for nearly 20 years can now help carry his legacy forward in a completely different way.

If Michael’s 26 can make even one difficult journey easier for a young person or their family, then Mike is still helping people, and his legacy really is still moving.”

Gleeds Cardiff are underway with making us Charity of the Year 2026-2027. They all grabbed a back pack and set off to climb Pen Y Fan Mountain in the Brecon Beacons National Park.

A super well done to all involved!!!!!

MAJOR GOLF EVENTS held their 2nd golf event at Glamorganshire Golf Club on Friday. They had 15 teams ( too many to show here ) and managed to raise £2190 for the charity.

We are so grateful to Simon and his team for their ongoing charity work for us...and in all weather too!

What a fantastic achievement. PENYBONT YFC raised an amazing £1118.25 through making us their Charity of the Year.

They held a series of concerts, coffee meetings and tractor pulls and generally used their wonderful community spirit to support us.

We are truly inspired by their dedication and hard work. What a great night it was for our team to meet you!!!

The fabulous Ratrace Dorset Ska supported Teenage Cancer Trust again at The Barrington Arts Centre in August with the 'Supersonic Ska Show', supported by the wonderful 'Supersonic Singers' and our amazing Teenage Cancer Trust volunteers! 🕺🎸🎤

It was a fantastic evening with great music, groovy dance moves and an incredible amount raised through bucket collections, merchandise sales and a great raffle.

Ratrace Ska have raised a phenomenal £9,554 for Teenage Cancer Trust so far, with many more gigs planned for the rest of 2026 💙.

Thank you so much to the incredible Cheltenham Hockey Club for organising their charity weekend in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust, and Leukaemia UK.

It looked like a very joyful evening in memory of a brilliant Young Man. Thank you to everyone involved. You're helping make sure we can be there for the next young person with cancer when they need us most 💙
