Great stuff Harrow Squash Club

When Harrow Squash Club launched Play Her Way earlier this year, the goal was simple: to create a welcoming space where women could discover squash and enjoy being active together.

Sense x Unitas – Active Event - 23rd June
Steph & Daniel, on behalf of OP Sports Club, led an inclusive, adapted squash session for individuals with complex disabilities at the SENSE charity event at Unitas at the end of June. The session prioritised accessibility through a sensory-first approach, utilising chime balls and textured equipment to develop hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
Participants learned fundamental racket skills and aiming techniques through interactive, target-based games. For those ready to progress, the session transitioned to using rebound walls, where participants successfully sustained independent rallies.

By adapting the sport’s core elements, the event delivered a safe, empowering, and highly engaging experience, ensuring every participant could meaningfully connect with the game.
