Educational Opportunity Foundation

Educational Opportunity Foundation The Educational Opportunity Foundation is a grant-giving charity formed in 1808. The Grants Committee considers grant applications at its quarterly meetings.

The Educational Opportunity Foundation (charity no. 314286) gives grants to charities for educational activities. Grants for education projects are given up to a total of around £700,000 in any one year. Grants are given to organisations with UK charitable status and are for the purpose of advancing educational opportunity in the UK and developing countries. The Society no longer makes grants for

individuals and it cannot fund schools or charities that are not registered in the UK. Application is online via the website - https://educationalopportunity.org.uk/home/grants/

Please note that you cannot apply for grants through this page - you need to access the grant application system through the link above. The Foundation is governed by a Council drawn from Members.

Trust's education projects. In very different contexts they showed how education can support young people and open up new opportunities. You can read more about their work to transform lives online:

The report is a reminder of the great work taking place in education across the world, to improve life chances for children and young people, which we are happy to support.
