Sometimes, if you’re very lucky, someone comes into your life who changes it forever. That’s what Georgia did for me.

We started our journey as strangers , she came to the charity as a young person looking for friendship and belonging and over time we became close friends. She has been part of the charity from the beginning, and part of my life for so many years.

Georgia touched every single one of us with her kindness, her strength, and her beautiful spirit. The charity, and my world, will never be the same without her.

I am completely heartbroken that she has gained her angel wings, but I feel so lucky to have known her, laughed with her, and shared part of our journey together.

Rest peacefully, Georgia. You will always be part of our World With Friends ❤️

Living with daily seizures isn’t easy somedays they really get me down but today feels hopeful.

First appointment at The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in London a new chapter, new possibilities, and fresh hope. Small steps can still lead to big changes 🤞

This years Prom is in London. I have been working really hard on this and it promises to be one of the best Proms yet. If you know a young person that feels isolated by their illness or disability or someone who missed their own school prom because they were too unwell why not nominate them to come to prom and let them have the special night they really deserve. I have many memories from this year. If I had to pick one photo to sum it up it’s this one. Find a reason to smile, not because life is perfect but because your story isn’t over yet. Every challenge you face helps you write another chapter.

Thank you to the amazing Neuro team at Southampton General for looking after me again. My surgeon is the best and brought my operation forward by a few days so I could enjoy Christmas. Surgery never gets easier and I was a bit grumpy about this one.

Mum decided to raid the hospital shop and may have bought every single bar of chocolate she could find just to make me laugh. She succeeded! I think I might have to start giving some away!

If you know someone spending Christmas in hospital or if you’re on your own and could use some chocolate to brighten your day, let me know I would love to share some festive cheer.
