Thank you to Best Food Forward, The School of Artisan Food and Baroness Walmsley for inviting ASET to the Houses of Parliament for the launch of The Role of Food Education in Supporting Pupil Outcomes (Best Food Forward).

We congratulate everyone involved in producing this important and timely research.

Food education is knowledge for life. Through food, young people can explore science, health, history, culture, migration, sustainability and enterprise, while developing the confidence and practical skills needed for adulthood.

Food education should not be a luxury or an optional extra. Every young person deserves the opportunity to experience the joy, wonder and lifelong value of learning about food.
